Gas Tank
I need to get a new gas tank for a 77 F150. Could I get an idea of what they cost new and what a reasonable price would be for a used one?
Should I even go with a used one since my problem is debris in the tank?

Remove the tank and drain it. Fill it with hot water and dish detergent. Dump a few pounds of screws, nuts, and washers, etc. in the tank. Shake it and roll it to let the hardware scrub out the tank. Drain it all out. Rinse it well. Let it dry in the sun. Add 4 bottles of HEAT to the tank and swish it around. Drain it again and reinstall.

Yup, either one. It gets the last of the water and moisture out of the tank. Watch out for sparks and flame near a fuel tank even if it is empty and has been washed out. There are always residual vapors inside that will cause an explosion if ignited.
