starter won't disengage
I have a 1987 Ford F150 300 6cyl. A while back I had a garage do some work on my truck and somehow they had messed up the wiring because I found my fuel gauge and a few other items wouldn't work. Well they fix that. But later on I started having a problem with my starter hanging up after the motor starts. I've replaced the battery, 3 starter celonoids, 2 starters and am still having the problem. After I replaced the battery, it seems ok for a while then the problem returned. I've also replace the ignition switch. I'm at the point now where I guess I'll start checking the wireing but would like to find a schematic to use for a reference. I would appreciate anyone having simular problems or thoughts and tell me where I can find a schematic. Thanks.
