I would take the alternator off one more time and get it checked. If it's bad, then we have to decide is the truck causing it or is it a crappy rebuilt alternator. Sad to say, it could be the 2nd senario happening.
They also have a caution with this alternator. If the battery is not fully charged when you put the new alternator in, it could burn up the new alternator.
