charging problems?
A 99 F250 V10 has had the alternator changed twice, problem went away for 2 weeks and has returned
the volt light is on, volt meter goes up & down, idle goes up & down,
and
at idle there is a flicker-surge in the the lighting
any help will be appreciated

I would take the alternator off one more time and get it checked. If it's bad, then we have to decide is the truck causing it or is it a crappy rebuilt alternator. Sad to say, it could be the 2nd senario happening.
They also have a caution with this alternator. If the battery is not fully charged when you put the new alternator in, it could burn up the new alternator.
