IVE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS STK BEDLINER FOR $150. LOOKS LIKE A GOOD DEAL AND ITS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT. I DONT WANT A SPRAY ON BEDLINER SO THIS LOOKS PERFECT.
QUESTION 1 DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS COMES WITH A LINER FOR THE TAILGATE?
QUESTION 2 THEY HAVE UNDER RAIL AND OVER RAIL LINERS. I HAVE THE BLACK PLASTIC RAILS ON MY TRUCK SO I SHOULD GET THE UNDER RAIL MODEL CORRECT?
AND DOES ANYONE HAVE OR SEEN ONE OF THESE.? HOW IS THE QUALITY.?
I used to have one of the liners like in your link. If I parked with the nose of the truck pointing down and we had a good rain, I'd let the kids in the neighborhood use it for a swimming pool.
Forget the spray on liners - in my area they ran $ 450- $ 500.00, not worth the price. A ripoff ! The dealer where I got my drop in ( a Pendaliner) recommended getting a drop in liner (which protects from dents - a spray-on doesn't) AND put a rubber mat on top of the liner. The mat protects items from sliding and also protects your knees. When you have something dirty to put in the truck you take out the mat and presto - hose out the liner if it gets dirty. Liner $ 185.00, mat $ 65.00, total $ 250.00 . Cheaper than a spray on and more useful !
I got the dealer to put a under rail drop in liner in my truck when I got it. It has the Ford emblem in the front and came with the tailgate liner as well. I also did what Yellowboy said and put a rubber mat over it and I like the whole set up pretty well. I wouldn't mind a spray in liner but I have a hard time with spending $500.00 for it, especially right now after buying the truck a couple months ago.
Just go to your ford dealer and order a rubber matt for the bed with the ford logo on it. Its about 1/2" thick and has been great. I also ordered through my dealer a hard plastic tailgate cover. Couldn't be happier and all was around 100
I want to get rid of my drop in liner. The darn thing warps like crazy in the sun, is slippery as hell, and cargo doesn't sit well on it even with a mat. It's also rubbing the paint off of the bed and squeaks when I drive on rough roads. I'll take a spray on liner any day.
I replaced my drop-in with a DualLiner that has the rubber floor. It's the best of both worlds and I can pull the mat up and clean the bed anytime I want without taking half the truck apart.
I got the factory liner and tailgate liner included with the truck. I really not happy with it I am looking into other options now. I live in south fl and have a 5.5 ft bed liner I wouldn't mind selling if your interested. Never get the over the rail liner it scratches the crap out of the bed. I had one on a 2003 chevy 1500.
The drop in liner you are looking at is a good deal. They are good liners and usually come with the tailgate protector. Get one that goes under the rail and put a rubber mat in the back on top of the bedliner. For what you are buying it for, you can get both the bedliner and the rubber mat for about $200. Good luck!
If you go with it get the rubber mat also as stated above. I have the Ford drop in which was dealer installed, I really never liked drop ins, but with the rubber mat it keeps stuff from sliding around, plus protects the bed from dents. Stuff will still roll on it, so strap anything heavy down! My toolbox has some modifications now thanks to a Dana 20 T case that took a few rolls and ended with a bang when it hit the tool box!
