What does your dog do....
When it storms? Reason I ask, my neighbor has a female Blue Healer that has always barked when a thunderstorm came through, mostly at the lightning.
Well yesterday afternoon, a thunderstorm came through and I kept seeing this dog run across my yard, barking. I watched her and realized that she was chasing after the thunderclaps!
She ran across the road towards the southwest after one big clap and dang near got run over.
Our little dog gets nervous during a storm, running here and there, eventually hiding under a table.

She doesn't do anything special. Just lays there for the most part. I don't think t-storms bother her. Now if you're shooting off fireworks, it's a different story. Barking, whining, trying to catch bottle rockets as they take off.
The cats on the other hand, they disappear completely. If they could I think they'd dig their own bomb shelter in the floor of the basement to get even lower under cover.

i have a seven month old ****ttt-zu, she has never barked in her life, but i do live in thunderstorm country (fla) so basically from now till december, it will be booming, and that could change.

The two dogs I have right now. One is just totaly oblivious. The other will climb up your butt if she could. Now, the dog I talked about in a previous post. He would go to the back door and wait for me. Why? because I love a good lightning show and so did he. I would crack a beer and he would sit right by my side, and we would both just watch the sky.
