That's reason 'bout #3 why I hate going down that way. (#1 is no freight to haul; #2 is TRAFFIC).

If I'm headed that way in the PSD, I'll usually stop in Waco to top off before heading into no-man's land...

those number seem low, but I use power service twice a month, about every other tankful. i recently straightpiped it and i'm getting close to 15 mpg. and before that it was around 13 something. i keep a light foot most of time and not really all highway driving either. its country roads and some stop lights but not city.
its hard to compare because you have the lift and bigger tires. not sure how much that brings it down.

Storm and others--there is a flying j off i10 on the east side of San Antonio. Aslo, the Valero at 3006 (near Garden Ridge; the north side of town) has what looks like high capacity pumps that get lots of use.

Now for a question completely off topic--since San Antonio is the biodiesel hub of Texas (we have the largest biodiesel refinery in the nation and, in February, held the biodiesel conference in town), why is there no place to buy biodiesel at the pump in San Antonio?

No one has convinced any local distributor to carry it.

You might want to spend a Saturday and go around looking for it... I found at least one place in D/FW that carries it, that's not on www.biodiesel.org. (that's the Pilot north of Fort Worth, by Alliance Airport.)
