Problem with tires rubbing
Hey guys pardon my ignorance on the subject but I don't know too much about tire sizes and lifts. I have searched the archives and can't seem to get an answer. I own a 91 F150 2WD and I would like to improve the look of the tiny tires (235/75R15) as well as increase the load I can put in the back since I use the truck for work. I got a good deal on some 33x12.5R15 tires already mounted on Bronco rims. I put them on the stock truck planning on putting a lift in soon and noticee the tires are rubbing pretty bad on the radius arms and the fles hose of the brake line. I was planning on putting a 4" suspension lift on but I don't see how that is going to solve my tire rubbing problem. If it were rubbing in the wheel wells I would understand. Any ideas on how to fix this rubbing issue? Also, are there suspension lift kits that will allow the truck to haul more weight? similiar to a 250 or 350?

Get some different wheels. You either need a different backspacing that puts the tires farther out or wider wheels that won't cause the sidewalls to bulge out so far past the edge of the wheel. Or for that matter, keep the 12.50's on the back and go with 10.50's on the front.
