ps bracket?

I have a 65 f100 and it had a/c but i decided to take it off, I relocated my power steering with the only bracket i had for it and it is not sturdy enough, it keeps throwing the belt. there has to be another bracket for the back side of the pump to the engine, I have the one from the front of the ps pump to the water pump. I need everyone on here that has a pic of there powersteering pump brackets to post them where i can go salvage yard hunting and know what to look for. My engine is a 302 and i am not sure what year it is, please only post pics of 302s. and if you know what years your brackets came off of that would be a plus

thanks

I know it is the 73-79 forum, my truck has a 197? something 302 in it, Im not inquireing about the body style, just about the ps bracket on any 302 and I thought that i would post in these forums too because the later years came with 302s factory.

Look at the picture Mil1ion posted. The diagram on the upper right is the same exact one that is shown in the 73/79 Ford truck parts catalog.

Have the bracket setup on my 65 F100 w/ the 302ci. Unfortunately computer illiterate and have not figured out how to get the pics to my gallery. The setup on mine consisted of 2 brackets. The pumps sets inside the 'main' bracket, had to remove the pulley before I was able to insert the bolts to secure the pump to bracket. The other bracket consist of a plate which mounts to the water pump and power steering bracket. There are 2 bolts, one is long and goes thru both brackets and threads into the heads. The other bolt goes thru an elongated slot, used for adjusting pulley tention, which threads into the pump bracket. Obviously, very poor explanation. Feel free to email if you like, would need to go to my 'Public Profile' to obtain my email address, have not been able to figure out how to attach pic's to the FTE email forum. In meantime, will attempted to post the pic's to my gallery but I have very little patience for these kinda things.

thanks for the pics, I have the same bracket setup as you, I guess what i am missing is the long bolt that goes through the ps pump bracket to the head, inbetween the pump bracket to the head is there a spacer?

I looked at mine and where the long bolt goes lines up with a hole in my head, but the bolt thats in my pump now is about 2 1/2" too short.
look in my gallery, i reposted the pic of your pump and out lined where I think the long bolt passes through, if I am wrong please let me know

Yes, there is a spacer. Measure'mt on mine is about 3/4" to 1". If recall had some alum. round stock and cut to fit then used bench grinder to clean up the ends. Found alum stock much easier to work with particularly if need to drill. Local hardware should have it. If decide to go that route, suggest drill hole before cutting to size. Don't hesitate if any other questions.
