And I'm sure that cummins gets down the road real good scootin on it's oil pan.......my axle is dana My bearings are timken My filters are Fram my brakes are raybestos my wheels are alcoa and my tires are firestone. You wanna go ahead and strip everything off your Ford that wasn't made by ford, have fun. It's still a ford. Cummins came in dodge trucks, just like powerstrokes came in fords. As far as the pickup world goes, the cummins is a DODGE engine only. Not saying you can't put it whatever, Ford chevy, or a VW bug if you really want. No real way to say it isn't a dodge motor except say it's brand name. Pretty sure IDI motors mfd by Navistar(international)

The IDI is made by international but ford put there own parts on it we have an international shop here in town and the block and so forth are international but the other parts like the injection pump are made from ford!
