I've been lurking around for a while, and posted hit and miss here and there, and finally decided to jump in. I'm getting started into modifying my truck, and know I will have some questions.
Tonight I installed my DP tuner chip Stk, 60 tow, 80 econo, and 120hp. Also installed the overboost ahnilator, and stainless HPX line. Didn't take too much to do. I have read that it might take 25-30 miles or so for the truck to get the air out of the high pressure oil system. Is that correct? The truck felt like it had a terrible miss at around 1300-1500 rpm's. Almost like the converter was locked, and making the motor lug. I have only driven it about 15 miles so far.
I will probably be getting a BTS VB pretty soon, and hopefully upgrade the turbo housing, at least, or maybe a whole turbo.
Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions that I may get from you guys.

I have always said, do one mod at a time and test. No biggy here though. You may need to run as much as 50-75 miles or more to get rid of all that air depending on how the HPX install went so no worries for now.
I would stay in the stock setting until it clears up as you don't want to bump the HPO pressure too much with air in it. It didn't do that before the HPX install right?
It did not have the miss feeling until the hpx was installed. The install was quick and painless, and did not have any leaks. I am running the chip in the stock location until it clears up.
I am running rotella 15-40 with motorcraft filter. As of now the miss has gone away, and it seams to be running right. I have about 50-60 miles on it after doing the hpx mod.
