2 unknown wiring plugs

Well I did the first oil change in my 1999 SD today and while under the truck I found two plugs.
One plug each are on the back side of the front inner fenders near the bottom. They are round and look to have about 4-6 wires each. They have nothing pluged in and look like they are OEM style.

Any help as to what they are for?

Rod

Jeez Rod....your first oil change? That's stretching it a little isn't it? I hope you changed filters a couple of times between taking delivery and now! LMAO!!!

See you Friday!

I intended to add that I have had the truck about 2 months and do not know how many miles is on the oil.

I have them too. And also have no clue what they are for. My first thought was for something to do with running board lights

Sounds like plugs for the front ABS sensors if it had 4 wheel ABS.

I looked under a friends F250 while at work and he has the plugs. They are pluged in and the wires run to the front hubs. I would ***-ume they are ABS wires. The plugs on my truck look too clean - like they have been pluged in.
How do you tell if you have 4 wheel ABS?

I ***-ume you've looked at the backside of your hubs and there are no wires?

If it was me, I'd call Ford and ask for a build sheet since I'm NOT one of those mechanical whizes who can look at something and give an assessment.
