Armrest

Well i am looking at putting a newer center armrest in my 1997 F150....i would like to get one with a cup holder and cubby hole storage in it....only problem is my truck has the Burgundy Interior....so now i am wondering what years these were made in this color with the cup holder....if anyone knows which years that would be great....also if anyone knows where i can purchase one of these that would be greta to...for now i am heading to the local wreckers and salvage yards in my hunt!

oh alos on a sidenote..now that i think of it...was this maybe part of the XLT package?...even in 1997?(my truck is an XL)

Yes, it comes with the 40/60 seats and is part of the 60 or P. side. My '97 XLT has it, I assume you have a bench, not sure how you could get it to work. Would be easier to swap in a 40/60 and be done with it.

I have a 97 Lariat with power 60/40 split leather seats with the armrest. If you can find the Lariat you might be able to find the armrest like you want or the whole seat.

yes i have a bench..and it has just like the flip (up and down) armrest...but its just a solid armrest..with no cup holder or anything...but i know you can get the same thing on a bench..but with a cup holder and cubby hole

i figured i could easily take apart the seat and just bolt in the new armrest...but maybe its not that easy.

I can say the seats I have are more comfortable than my wifes car or the bucket seats in my Ventura

I know my armrest is wide enough for 2 people to use. and it's bolted to one seat. I hope you can find one and it works for you I'm interested in knowing if it will.

You have the 60/40 split seat so one from a XLT and Lariat should bolt in.
