Wheel coating
Does anyone know of a solvent that will remove the clear coating on the Ford alloy wheels? My front ones are chipped, so I would like to remove the coating, clean them up and put a coat of Glisten on them.

Try some basic lacquer thinner. I would be cautious with using stripper on aluminum, but thats just me. Id scuff up the clear coat a little then soak a rag and rub on some thinner on until all the clear is gone.
