hey ....I just bought my first bronco! 95, roller mass air 5.0 115k mi, ex police bronco, the only problem the guy ever had was the o2 sensor. basic blue vinal interior and rubber floor mat on the passenger end.....nothing(just plain white paint) on the cargo area. everything works, but interiors a little rough looking 2300 bucks. ive already been to bronco graveyard .com and i figured blue dash cover.....vinal seat covers, and a full molded blue carpet (including cargo area) will straighten up the inside......i also need to find a center console because this is a stripped down XL and doesnt have one.......ill post pictures as soon as i get it back to SC on thurs. night. Ill be apart of yalls wonderful forum from now on so get ready to answer all my questions! lol.....anyway thanks in advance
very excited...
Bob
Sound like I like em plain. Just air for me . If the floor mat was gray I'd buy it off you .
The broncos are something once they get to you .It could be worst ride you ever had but .You will want another Bronco . I sold mine 4 yrs ago and really can't use one now but . I look at every one I see. Good luck
I sold mine last year to finance a soccer wagon (New X-terra)! Just wasnt good enough for a newborn baby and my everyday driver. Now that she is a little over a year old I am dying for one. It was a 5.8, '90 that had 4.10 gears, It was nothing more than a gas hawg but I loved it. Have been looking at a few lately most of them I am finding are the 5.0 with electric shift, They do get into you.
Had a Bronco II in high school, wanted a full size since. Picked up a 95 XLT last week!!!!!!Lots more power, not real worried about the gas mileage though, its paid for. Had a car payment for about 9 years now, I welcome the change!!! no car payments, woo hoo!!!! Cant wait to start adding mods, taking her off road. I think I will be impressed by the looks of this website!!! Enjoy your Bronco, I know I will be enjoying mine for years to come
My first legalized truck was an 89 on 33 inc buckshots with a 5.0 and 4 spd granny...I loved that ole eddie bauer but I had to sell it.....it got broke and I didn't make enough to fix it at the time...gawd how I regretted that....now I got an 83 I'm building from scratch...should be interesting......
anyone know where i can get the blue side trim panels in the cargo area? its so plain its jus the white metal on the sides....no side panels and no armrest for the back seat
Thanks swervin.......I really do look forward to the build...it's gonna be really stripped down and just ur basic play toy till I get a little more technical with it.....LMC is definately the way to go.....when I start tearing everything apart on mine I'll drop a line and let everyone know what I'm scrappin.....interior heat ac windows dash...lotsa goodies.....
In case you haven't seen it yet there is another good bronco site, fullsizebronco.com
There is alot of good info there also. I got my first bronco early this year and I agree with the new found love for broncos. I would own another 15 if the wife would allow it. Mine is a 94 XLT 5.0 with 33" mud terrains. I plan on just a 3" body lift to help with tire clearance for now but later a good 4" suspension lift. I think until I get rowdy and put a 418 stroker in it I will stay with 4" lift and 33's but the 418 or a hopped up 460 is in the future plans for the truck
I have had a few mustangs that I raced but then the family came along and I can't afford that anymore, last car I was building was a 94 GT that I was putting a 533 ci big block in (stroked 460) and had a fogger kit to spray a 300 shot on to start with but was going to put a 10-71 blower on later. Now that the family is here I kinda lean towards having the bronco and doing some mild wheelin from time to time.
