1997 4.6 engine swap...please help

New member here. Just bought a 97 f150 with 420,000 miles on it. Still runs fine, but bearings sound a little loose. I found an engine, trans with transfer case, and rearend locally. All with 70,000 miles. New stuff is from a 99. Is this stuff all direct bolt in, or can someone tell me what I would need to change. I have the 4 wheel shifter on the floor and the new stuff has electronic, so I'm pretty sure I will have to use my old transfer case. ANy help would be appreciated before I buy this new stuff.

By the way, both are 4.6 automatics.

Should be, IF the newer engine had COP's it won't matter because you will use your coil packs and your fuel rail, as long as you do that you should be fine.

Are the transmissions any different? Only reason I ask is because I went on Autozone.com and they list a different trans. # for the 97 than the 99. I would really like to use both the engine and trans with 70k.
