Replacing window glass problem
After fighting with installing the glass run in my 56 F100 I finally got the glass put in and now it only comes to within 1.5in. of completely closing. The gap is at the top and I can't figure out what I might have done wrong,it rolls up and down okay and doesn't appear to be binding anywhere, what's up with this? Could it have something to do with the mechanical lifter mechinism?

Window problems
My son & I have a 55 that we put new regulators in and had all sorts of trouble. We found that the Vintiques regulators did not work very well. Cound that be your problem. We had much better luck putting new clutch regulator springs in the old units and using those. I would suspect the regulators especially if you are using "new" units.
