32 or 33" tires on 92 F150

Hey there guys. I own a 92 F150 I6 5spd.

I am going to be putting a set of 32x11.5x15 or 33x12.5x15's on the truck this week or next. Only thing is the truck is not lifted at all. Yet.

I would like to put the tires for at least a week or two than lift the truck. Can anyone please tell me if I might run into some probelms here? Will be using the stock Ford rims as well. Not sure if the 33x12.5 will be too wide for them.

I dont mind doing some fender work/removal/rolling to make it fit.

Please post back with suggestions or any info.

Thanks a ton guys.

The 33 will likely to be problematic -- it may rub on the radius arms, plus contact with bumper and/fender, but you may be lucky and it will fit. The only sure way is by trying it. However, it will most certainly throw off the gearing ratio quite a bit.

Thank you very much for that. I think I may stick with 32's just because it will be a bit easier for now.

I will post back with results. Thanks again.

I used to have a '95 f-150 Eddie bauer with a 2"(could be 3", can't remember)lift with 32's on stock wheels , and they rubbed at full turn.

both are too wide for stock 7.5 inch rims the inflation will need to be breought way down for good tread wear. The tire manufactures recomend at least 8" for both of these size tires.

If you are going to lift it any way i would go to 33 they will fit for the short term unless you are rough on it.

A 1.5" - 2" leveling kit plus proper wheels (10") should be enough for a 33.

32's BFG M/T's arrived.

The look so much better than the 235's on there before. At max turn the tread slightly rubs the radius arm.

Will look into getting wider wheels.

Thanks alot guys.

Got any pics of your truck with the new meats on it
? I am considering either the 32's or the 33's myself but would like to see it with the 32's on it.
