Steering Column

I was wondering if a 1968-72 econoline van automatic shift steering column would somehow fit a 1967 econoline truck/van?Any help will be appreciated.

parts of the column can be used. the shifting parts are about the same as the 1st gen. parts are, and can be used in place of the 1st gen. parts.
