No Tc Lockup

Od "off" Light Blinking. Will Shift Into Od But Tc Not Locking Up. Logic Says Tc Solenoid. Will Pull Code Tomorrow. Does The Tc Solenoid Come Alone Or Part Of The Solenoid Pack? Or Should I Just Buy An Upgraded Valve Body For Stock Trans At 113k?

When i had my BTS tranny installed, we went out for a test drive, and my TC lock light would come on like it normally does, but the TC would not lock. After replacing a solenoid somewhere above the pan, that didn't fix it, so the trans came back out. Brian said there is a valve in the front pump area that was too tight and would not slide from side to side, and lock the TC up. I don't think this is your problem but it could happen. When you get codes it will be alot easier to help you out.

I Replaced The Oilpump, Torque Converter And Coast Drum 2 Yrs Ago
(38k) When I Broke It On The Beach. I Tow A 13k 35ft 5er And Camping Season Starting, I Want To Have Piece Of Mind When I Leave Home. How Is Your Bts Trans Kris? Been Thinking Of Going That Route. Just Dont Know Which One Yet. Does The Ats Trans Have A Good Rep?

Ask anyone, its not about the transmission, because once you build them to the max, they are all basically the same. The thing that sets BTS out far away from the competition is the customer service. Would you want to pay $3500 for a transmission, have it break, and then need to pay for repairs, or pay $4600 the first time and be done with it?

I love it, i have the confidence to give my truck however much throttle i want now.

my Trans shifted good but TC would not lock up at one time..thought maybe I got the c-103 plug wet (just washed my truck be for this happened)so I dried them out..went for a ride and all was good...next day went for a ride TC would not lock again..got to a stop light and when leaving the light it started to lock..next light did not lock..I thought it was a solenoid to..took it to a Trans shop for testing and found the TC had blown apart...there was pieces of clutch all through the Trans and plugged my cooler up as well..I hope that isn't your problem..good luck

I have to disagree with Strokin on the trans build ( Being all the Same after going to the max ) Brian Has Three different Pattens on his upgrades, He machines parts and does not just throw in extra clutches. his transmissions are in my opinion are a step above anyones, And his customer is unmatched. The Ats Tranny if you do a Google Search doesn't have a very good track record on performance and or Customer service.

Pulled Code This Morning. P0741 Tc Slippage. The Tc In It Now Is A Ford Reman. Gonna Call Bts Later And Drop Some Change To Get This Thing Fixed. Thanks Guys.

Update

Bts Torque Converter Was Backordered But Finally Came. Pulled The Tranny Today And Then The Spincter Tightened When Inspecting The Oil Pump. Trash!!!! Splines Worn Off The Bottom End Of The Snout And Bushing Was Worn Bad. No Clutch Material In The Pan So I Flushed The Lines And Cooler. Pick Up The New Pump In The Morning And Put It Back Together. Wish I Had The Cash To Get The Complete Bts Unit.
