I own a large number of rifles, pistols, and percussion revolvers. I also pay close
attention to issues involving the second amendment. I don't know if you might have heard about what had happened as a result of the S&W "sellout" involving the UK
investors group that owned S&W, and the New York housing department police,
and the Brady interests. The loss of business S&W suffered from consumers having
no further business with them forced the investors to sell the company at a loss.
For a few years now, they have been separate from the investors that made that
faustian bargain during the Clinton administration. And for the last few years, S&W
police trade-ins have been for sale. I feel kind of good about that turn of events.
And I own a model 645 trade-in.
i got a model 70 300 win mag. pretty darn nice, its like a mini artillery gun going off.
but if i ever did hunt, i would find more joy and a challenge using my open sight enfield. though i would probably get tired of lugging it around all day.
hey bf there is a couple places you can go to to get a synthetic stock for your Enfield. that is if your talking about a british enfield .303. Man did that cut down some weight.if you are interested pm me and i will get you the site.
Mine have outgrown my safe, but at last count I think I was up to 46: some are 5 Browing A-5's; 2 Browning A-Bolt .22 (very rare), 2 Colt .45; 1 Colt Scout; 1 Armalite HB, 3 win. M70: (.222, 7mm-08, 338 Win. Mag), Glock, H&K, Beretta, Ruger super Balckhawk, GP100, Several Win. 1894's, Marlin 39's, S&W, to name a few...I should have pictures like I do of my wife kids and truck.
I've got a Rock Island 1911 .45, Springfield Armory M1 Garand, k-98k Mauser, model 1894 .30-.30, Ruger mini-14....etc. etc. I wouldn't get rid of any one of them, except for my Ruger 10/22.

thanks, but i will keep this one original, the stock is modded for launching grenades, havn't seen one like it.
fl1a - yes, it has the wires around it. i actually never looked up any info myself, the guy at the local area gun shop explained to me about it, so i just took his word.
i don't have the mills projector permanently attached, (nor did i even know that is what they called it). i don't have anything else for it. it would be pretty interesting to get though.
If you could find one one these days, the projector could increase the value. It
is basically a steel cup large enough to put a grenade (mills bomb) inside. A powerful
cartridge would be used to blow the grenade out. The "spoon" would be held in place
until the grenade was launched. Sorry for getting off track.
Like 'em? No....I LOVE guns!!! AK's and SKS's are my happy place. In fact...I took my SKS squirrel hunting today. Overkill? Yes, but it hasn't been out in a looong time.
