i got a headlight relay wiring harness from lmc plan on using tri-bar headlights with h4 bulbs and from what i read somewhwere that not useing relays all the power goes thru the headlight switch and cause it to go bad in weeks looking for someone thats done this and if they used for fuse between battery and relay instructions got it hooking up without any circuit protection

I did the same conversions several months ago; converting to a relay system is advised so that you do not burn up the headlight switch. I hooked mine up w/o a fuse and have not had a problem. Though it would not be a bad idea to fuse them, I do not know how many amps the headlights draw, I would start with a 30 amp. Make sure with the lmc kit to mount the relays after routing all the wires it is pretty tight on wire it you are trying to hide the wire in the grill, I barely had enough wire length. Also you will need to open up the hole in the back of the headlight bucket to clear the bigger bulb. The conversion is well worth the investment just for the safety of being able to see the road at night.

Do not use fuses for a headlight circuit. Always use auto-reset circuit breakers.
