My 79 Bronco keeps having the parking lights go out or flash. The headlights stay on but all the others go out on me. I've replaced the switch but still have the same problem. Is there a heavy duty switch or one that is to be used with towing packages that I should have used? Does anyone have any ideas????

 

Sounds like a short. The parking lights also light the radio too. I would check for shorts.

 

Hey 79....The first place I would check would be in the back of the truck....Trailer wiring...sometimes its quite a mess back there...you may have several different trailer wiring splices back there.

anyway...just my take on it...good luck.
