changing fuel filters

what size socket is the underbody fuel filter cap???? i cant get the damn thing of with channel locks, its a pain to get to also..thanks

36mm shallow socket.

you can usually find them on ebay for around $10 shipped. I bought mine from a seller called rooprict and got it within a week.

yeah i bought a 36m at autozone, its a really tight place to work in, plus i have big gorilla hands, so that doesnt help. thanks everyone

A friend of mine told me to use a oil filter band. Tryed it seems to work better than socket.

I bought mine at Pep-Boys and works perfect because it is a very short 36mm socket that uses a 3/8 drive ratchet so you don't need any extensions.
Don't look for it in the tool section, it is in the oil filter wrench section and it was under $10.

Id becareful of te oil filter band as the caps are just plastic and could be cracked if too much pressure is put on them.
