dronve to work. got to work and truck was dripping fuel popped the hood and didnt see anything. decided that the FPR might be a tad loose because i just did the screen cleaning, got the tools and went to tighten it and realized it was cracked! it broke at the fitting that faces the rear of the truck. anyone know where i can order one and get it quick?? i dont want to leave my truck at work in the parking lot all weekend...
oh boy thats not good. ford would be the only place but they are a bunch of money. maybe try a salvage yard
Not what i wanted to hear. So i guess the mods wait for another while. Think i could get it from an International dealer cheaper? That and how do i figure out the part#? Great way to start the weekend.
Ouch! 195 plus shipping. gues she'll be sleeping for a while. i called all the salvage yards i could think of out here and they either dont do diesels or its too old...
Been there, done that. Swore I'd never have it happen again so when I got my new Fuel bowl/FPR assembly I had Rabbit Mfg. modify it to withstand great levels of fuel psi. Thus far it has with held 90psi at idle. Im to greedy I think
I am not sure the IH motor use the same thing. I saw a part number listed for the screen kit for the FPR and it said it doesn't fit fords. But its worth a try!
