Hey guys. I picked up a 77 F250 2wd crew cab and it came with most of the parts (axles, leafs, tranny, T-case, x-members, etc.) off a 4wd truck in he bed.
I'm just trying to figure out what the T-case and tranny are. Looks like a divorced T-case, built by Dana. I'm not good w/ 4wd stuff though so I have no clue other than that.

Pics can be found in my crew cab gallery.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
The Ford transfer case tag number is on the left side of the case on a metal tag. A portion of the number will contain: 7A195.
Sample: D7TA-7A195-AA
The trans tag is also on the left side of its case. Depending on a manual or auto, the ID number could be either: sample: PKB-AA for an auto, or sample: D7TR-7006-AA for a manual.
It was funny - I brought my new purchase (77 crew cab 2wd) home and it had a nasty, old camper shell on it with all the 4wd parts loaded in the back. I finally got the camper shell off and all my buddies started looking at the parts. One guy said "that looks like a 2wd tranny", which made me look a little closer at the T-case and tranny. The tranny has a U-joint yoke on the end of the tailstock, and the T-case was at the other end of the bed with a U-joint yoke coming out of either side. Certainly makes me think it's divorced - but then again I'm new at this big 4wd stuff
