1992 f150 engine swap
I got this 92 f150 with a str8 six in it is there any modifications i have to do to put a 331 in it?

its a 302 stroked 331 is there any modifications i have to do to the motor mounts to get it to set in there

you're gonna have to remove the 4.9 frame mounts and replace them with 5.0L frame mounts. These are the mounts the motor mounts bolt to

so the 5.0 motor mounts will bolt right into the frame in the exisiting holes

no that's what I'm talking about. You need the frame mounts. they bolt to the frame and then the motor mounts bolt to them.

i think im getting this im a lil new at this so you take out the 300 frame mounts install 5.0 frame mounts

now does the 5.0 frame mounts bolt right into place

you got it. The 5.0 frame mounts bolt right into place to the rear of the crossmember that's in the engine bay
