I have a 2000 Ford F150 Truck. I bought a keyless entry/car starter/alarm kit. I can't find anyone in my area that will install it because I didn't buy it from them. The truck has a anti-theft system in it. It is just a coded key. Witch means only his key can start the truck no other key or tool. How do I go about installing this kit without possibling not being able to start this truck. Do I have to disconnect this feature or what. HELP ME PLEASE!!!
You need to get a PATS key bypass. Check with whoever you bought the kit from or find the kit maker's site on the www. Basically it is a module that fools the trucks antitheft system into thinking it has the right key in the ignition when the remote starter is activated.
