I have an 92 f-150 flareside with 88,900 At times it struggle to start, not mention I am burning alot of gas. I haven't pulled any codes yet, and no engine light is on either. Would could this be ? I was advised that it could be the o2 sensor. Is this my problem ?
O2 sensor can cause you to burn more gas.........I don't think it will make it hard to start.
tuned it up lately?.....that's where I start if it gets hard to start and I haven't. Maybe if you gave more info about how it starts......someone might be able to help.
Does it crank and crank and not fire.......or does it sputter and try to start?
Good Luck
well first pull codes, check battery and cables if they are old replace them. if the starter works fine when its cold but after things get warmed up the starter has issues its probably the starter.
Tuned it about a week ago. At times it cranks and cranks, then finally it turns over. Other times it turns right over.
