it's time...
Today was the first time I pulled with the 97 ex cab. It did well, I like the 5 speed on the hills. The 6637 whistles nicely, but the stock exhaust has to go! I've got the new one laying in the bed, just need to find time to put it on. Trying to decide between adding helper springs or air bags. I'm going to put a B&W in but what I've see when looking for the crew cab didn't look like it was going to work with the extra thickness of the hitch. Either way I hate to see a truck sag with a loaded trailer 
Getting ahead of time and money but a tuner is bouncing around in my head... Used a 6.0 to pull my goose the other day and that extra 100 hp is nice. Oh this will make my wife happy

Air bags are nicer cause you can adjust the ride of your rig when your unloaded where as helper springs can make for a jarring ride all the time. I have a B&W hitch and air bags and its a great combo. Glad to hear you enjoy that Kwik filter. Just wait til you open up that exhaust system..... the grin factor increases ten fold!
