Transfer case NP208 to BW

I have a 84 F250 4x4 with the NP435/NP208 setup. After 300,000 miles the old tranny is wore out, I got another NP435 with the BW(forgot witch one but all manual shift)transfer case. Will I have anyproblems with drive shafts if I put in the BW transfer case in place of the NP208? And if I do have to swap, are the input shafts the same from BW to NP transfer cases?

Did the donor transfer case come from a bronco?

Measure the length of the transfer cases. If they are different lengths (and they probably are) you will need to appropriately lengthen/shorten your driveshafts.

The broncos use a fixed output yoke and the trucks use a slip yoke.

It came out a F250 4x4 either 84 or 85. I noticed the switch over from NP to BW in that year range too. I'll mesure the t-case and check yokes out.

That 208 is a slip style yoke, is the unknown BW case the same? (hop not) Maybe find a BW 1356 case, and convert to a fixed yoke, or better yet, slip in a 205.....
