2x4 to 4x4 conversion frame
ok heres what it is. i have a 77 4x4 with a very rotten rear frame but a very solide front end and a 74 2x4 with a very solide all the way frame. im a professional mecanic and my brother in law is a professional welder.
i know ive read in other tread that i should defenitly find my self a clean 4x4 frame. the thing is around here there none left (north cold canada rotten or all crushed) im not afraid at all of cuting and welding and i would like to know what steps are involve and if someone has some pictures of this mod.during the build. i would apreciate very much .also this way my 74 frame,cab&bed would still have the same vin.a little bit more matching number
both frame are 1/2 ton.
hope you guys wont discourage me too much!
