Im putting a 75 460 into my 86 Bronco. I am having questions about engine mounts. Ive heard three different things.
1. Use the mounts from an early 70's car with 460,( something about just weld it in, not sure??)
2. Use the mouts from a 390 2wd truck.
3. L&L for $115.
I was reading a thread about 460 swaps and there was a picture of a 88 bronco 460 with 88 F250 460 mounts. I am wondering if mounts out of an 86 F250 with 460 with bolt in my truck
Thanks for any help. Dave
Yup, that'd be my Bronco swap pic you saw. I don't see why the '86 F-250 brackets wouldn't work. Here's a couple comparison pics of the 302 to the 460 brackets and mounts-
