I have another "Chinese Obligation"
I was behind someone coming to the stoplight at Old Millington and Thomas.
I was watching the back bumper of the car in front, and underneath it a KITTEN appeared..... (unhurt, and right in the middle under the lisence plate) summitch drove right over it...
I hit the flashers, got out, went to find it...
It went under my ranger....
It was hugging the inside of my right front tire. If I had gone ahead it would have been over and done. My back tires are wider than the fronts.
The dang cat isn't old enough to be without Momma, I have no idea why it was there at all. it likes the innerds of sub sandwiches though, and IF (IF!) I get stuck with this cat to raise - IT'S NAME IS SHELBY.
That there is where I found it. DOES ANYONE want a cat? I'm allergic to cats. I love them, but they make my eyes swell shut. This one is cool - black and dark brown tabby striped.
It needs to be on a farm or somewhere.
Right now it's afraid of everything.

I'm allergic to cats, matter of fact.
If we forget that it's a cat, and I had said -
"A baby was in the road, too young to be away from it's mother - and I picked it up."
I think it puts it in the perspective I see it in.
(GOD did this to me... Just when I was happily feeling sorry for myself TOO!)

I think I finally broke the ice with it. I went and fetched it and petted it until it began to purr.
I still can't be home much, but it has all it needs during the day.
And yes, I bought milk for BOTh of us.
PS: If there was a pill for that I would have been raising BOBCATS years ago...
PPS: I'll pay for my altruism later when I wake up itching uncontrollably...
PPPS: It's name for now is simply "MEW" - I'll snap a pic tomorrow.
I wonder if it will help me find the "Door into Summer"?

"Cat" the other white meat.
My only real favorite cat I had was a stray, seems the female had mated with a bobcat, little dark grey kitten had all the features, big feet, no tail, pointed ears with distinct hair patterns on them and was muscular. I grabbed it out of a Scout II I had in the shed parting out, threw it in the house to get the mice, damn thing grew on me, self litter trained in a pan I had out for my ferret, made itself at home. My mother in law was a dog person, she fell in love with it, cried when she found her in the backyard, had been shot with a 22, she made it home before dieing.
