I was out scouring the countryside on the weekend and found an old 36 Chevy 4 dr sedan in the bush . Its all there ,roof is pretty dented though and its ony 2 miles from my place!! all body parts are there. interior is gone though.. Trees all around it . Griil shell still intact. Hood is very straight and the engine is still in it lol. Might contact the owner to see if he wants to part with it. Would make nice lawn ornament or driveway marker lol. Took a few pics of it but scared to post it on this forum lol. I know its not a ford but i still love old cars no mater what the h they are!!!
Hah haa speaking of Apchies , i had a 59 short box that was in damn good shape till i put it on its lid . Ohh well supposed to learn from our mistakes right !
I was out for a drive in the country last weekend and found a 66 and a 67 stang sitting side by side behind a farmers barn. Guy won't part with them though
my ex landlord and current parts guy has a 69 mach one sitting in the back of his "other" parts store. it's been there for at least 5 years and he doesn't touch it much. Also about 7km away from my backyard is a nother 69 mach 1 that has been sitting beside this guys barn for at least 4 years now and that's only when i first noticed it. Problem with that one is he's got 3 very large dogs on the property so you don't even want to get out of the truck to go try to talk to him about it!
I`d kill to get my 69 Mach I back, last I heard it was in or around Moose Jawby way of Southey.
If anyone sees a what was a mint candy apple red with the gold/white Mach I stripes/red interior it could be my old one.
well even though they aren't Ford's I gotta tell you about what I grew up riding around in. My Dad's toy was a 1964 426 Hemi Belvedere 1 of 4 that were registered in Canada in 1990 and 2 were in junkyards and my step mom's toy was a 1962 Impala Super Sport Convertible with a 409 under the hood!! I was 12 when they got them and that's about the time i became interested in horsepower!!! Anybody wonder why?
