When I was 8 years old i fell in love with Ford Trucks. my Uncle had a 69 1 ton Ford pickup. We used to cruise down the Don valley parkway in that thing all the time. Most fun I ever remember was when i was 16 my uncle's neighbor wanted to take down his garage and get rid of it. My Uncle said he's do it and take it away. I figured we had about a 3 day job in front of us. NOPE!! We cut the garage in half lengthwise and then cut some of the supporting beams backed the box of the truck into it and then folded the garage in 4 pices onto the back of the truck. Tied her down and made a 2 hour trip to my uncles cottage and dropped the garage on the ground. Best part about the ride was my Uncle telling me he was turning on the bounces. got the whole job done including round trip to the cttage in 9 hours!
My friend Rob has a 69 Mach 1. I love the 69/70 sportsroof Mustangs, but was never a fan of the Mach 1 though. I know I am definitely in the minority with my opinions but I dont really like the side stripes on the 69 Mach or the chrome lower panel on the 70 Mach. I just think the plain models look juicier ( there was a 69 w/drag pack option 4 sale a year or two ago at cutknife - very nice)! The Boss '9' is hot, the Boss 302 isnt too bad.
Yeah it does make you sick but its pretty cool to look at all the typical people with old cars and trucks and they say i have plans to restore it or this or that or its not for sale they always say it
The sports roof is a nice car but after looking at a Mach it`s to plain.
It`s missing the Mach I hood scoop/blacked out hood, rim blow steering wheel, wood grain dash trim, high back buckets/console and the factory chrome wheels.
A Boss is THE BOSS, 429 or 302!
Do you know where did the 69 drag pack from Cutknife go and at what price?
