Two wires in a rubber cap plug onto the sending unit. Not sure if you have to drop a side tank, but it's Gumby accessable on the rear tank. Just feel around near where the fuel line terminates.

Thanks for the reply. As far as being able to feel much of anything, well, I can't. At least not when lying on my back and reaching up to where I cannot see a thing.
