Hello 1988 E150 224K miles

Hi
Just would like to let you know we have a 1988 E-150 Van 302 V8
Auto OD 224,000 mile. My wife and I just drove this van from NM to Fl and back
4600 miles it ran Great.
We did the same trip last year and broke down in Bowie Tx. about 500 miles from home. The problem was a short in the distributor which burned out the
electronic module. After 2 days and a great mechanics efforts we hit the road and have driven it about another 10,000 miles. I keep wondering what will fail next and how long we can keep driving it. We really like the van for camping and it looks great with a recent paint job.
Only problem now is the haeter blower motor doesn't have any power. Just checked it out and there isn't any power going to the blower switch on the dsh broad I guess I will work on it some more?
Thanks for reading THIS
Ernie
