Source for mid frame crossmember
My 85 F150 2WD flareside is now bare frame plus engine. The crossmember between the front and rear cab mounts is rusted through at the lower support brackets, the ones that angle up from the lower frame flange to the crossmember at 45 degree angle. Need source to replace lower support brackets or entire crosssmember. Any help appreciated.

I would check with the dealer. They keep the rear frame brackets for the springs in stock for about $40.00. They may be able to get the crossmembers too. I got my crossmember from a junkyard truck. Up to 1996 will work.
