'57 engine transplant
I was wondering on a project i am doing this summer. I'm putting a 390 FE with a 3spd manual tranny back into my 1957 F-250. I was wondering if anyone else has done this, and if so, do they have pictures, and details on what they had to do to make it work, as well as floor shifter information for the 3spd tranny. Will the stock transmission crossmember have to be removed, and will the floor shifter come through before the bench seat or where the bench seat is. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as pictures of engine mounts, tranny mounts, and other such things.
