When I play an mp3 disk, the text doesn't scroll. I have a 2006 model premium mp3 single disk changer. I read the manual and it just says to press the text button to display text. I want to know how to make it scroll through. I do notice little letters and numbers in the corner changing when I press it: F1, S1, etc. What do they mean?
thank you,
Chris

I have the '05 6 disc. Pretty much same thing. Try it with a NEW CD, recent release. If there isn't any text, like Name of Artist, Song Title etc. info on the CD, it won't display. If whoever made the MP3 disc didn't take the time to program the info in, nothing there to read.
Push the botton/arrow to the right of the text button and that will get you to the end of the text. Then you will notice the arrow points left, hit the botton/arrow to the left of the text button and you will be at the begining agian. That is how my 08 radio works. I do a lot of scrolling on with the Sirius.
Hi,
Scanning thru, wondering if anyone still watching this thread.
Does anyone know how the folders are used (in general) on the 6 disk players?
I want to take advantage of the folders buttons on the front panel but have not found any information about their use or functionality.
I've burn'd cds with various folder'd files but am not able to sort or provide any kind of organisation on disks.
Thanks, jeff
