Question Airbag code 44 on 97 Expedition
I'm getting airbag error code 44 on my 97 Expedition. Where can I find the definition of the various codes?

LFC 44/DTC U2017 - DRIVER SIDE CRASH SENSOR COMMUNICATIONS FAULT.

You need to see if this is a continuous or stored code. If you're not comfortable doing this, it may be best left to the experts.

I disconnected the battery for 30 seconds today and so far the light has stayed off.
