I do like the look of the Excursion but there are many more things about the Bronco that I like other than it being a fullsize 2 door MPV with a short wheelbase. I'd like a truck with all of the simple characteristics that the Bronco had. The Excursion, whether it be 2 or 4 doors, is just too luxurious and soccor mom for me. I just want it big and powerful yet simple. I realize that Ford must use some sort of existing platform to make it more affordable to build but I just cannot accept a 2 door Excursion as being a Bronco. They would have to do a lot more than cut two doors off.
