the 6.4 is harder on diesel and it was more money. the dodge sounds like a gas not like a gaser with no oil in it. and the dodge was a better price. most of the ford go to or come from the oil rig pigs and i dont want anything i had.. i get the 35 put on on weds i`l post a pic.this 6.7l dodge seems to be great already
Sounds cool nightrain, Yea there proud of the New fords,chevys,dodge..ect.. all of them..Most folks are claiming 16 to 22 mpg outa the 6.0, I get close to 6 to 8mpg with the heavy load, I do like the Big fender wells of the dodge, and they are sharp..Im sure youve done some home work before purchase with the maintenance, Im a little leary of haveing to pull the cab off the chassie to work on the 6.4L deisel..I sometimes dont know what these manufactures are thinking, Most of these trucks are meant for a company with deep pockets what hapened with building an afortable and torque pulling monster with good milage..for us working folks..even the new F150 are going for $35,000 and up most diesels are going for $45,000 and up..My wife just got me a 6x12 nice enclosed trailer and pulling it with the 5.4L with 35" tires running the superchip tow-perf tuneing with 3.55 gears and I yanked it around at 70 and 80mph But it slurped up some gas..I;ll be gearing down to 4.11,4.30 soon..seemed like to much of a struggle and strain., up and down hills the diesels dont feel hills..with loads there built for em..I just love my 2001 F150..and it would be hard to part with, You'll never even notice the 35"ers..

Good luck with your new truck. A Dodge with the Cummins is awesome. My late friend, had a Dodge with a Cummins, and it went 210,000 miles before he passed on. The only thing he did when he first got the truck, was replace the torque converter, with a special heavy duty one. He never had any problems with his truck.
my buddy had the dodge with the big ol cummins in it, he loved it, but his gave him problems when he started messing with the suspension, he put a Kore leveling kit on it, and it just got all messed up, so be careful with it!
