Sad new today. Got home from work and my Canvas car tent was gone. The riding lawnmower and the lumber were all there, but no car tent.
A little ways over was a pole fromthe tent, some poles laying in the lumber. Found more poles by the property fence and some on the neignbors side and the stakes that hold the poles down. Of in the distance could see a section of my neighbors fence on the opposite sid eof the feild was down. Walked half across the feild and in the next feild there was the tent in the trees.
Went to neighbor and we went and took it down. It took an 1hr and half to take the tattered remains apart. This is a half mile from my place.
The tent was in the open with no shelter around it. So after a year it the wind blew it away. I think I must of had a mini tornado go through here.
So those tents need to be where there is shelter from the winds. Or they become airborne.
Sorry to hear that Glen, the spring windy season is here and a real pain in the behind.
It was very windy all day here as well, I haven`t lost anything that I know except probably even more shingles off my barn roof.
