I know this isnt the suspension forum but I posted a thread in there and got no replies so figured I'll try here.
I purchased a set of 6'' lift leafs for the front of my 1997 350 PSD off my buddy. Thats all I got though. So what I want to know is, what else do I need besides the rear blocks, u- bolts and shocks? Also will I need to do anything with the drive shafts or t- case, and extend the brake lines?
I would not block in the back honestly. Blocks are dangerous, moreso in the front, but I would get lift springs for the back also instead of sticking in a block.
You can always try the shackle flip for the back and get a 2 or 3 inches out of that however.
You might want to consider brake line extensions also. Dont ever use old U-bolts. Get some new ones bent.
I wish i could offer you the services of a local place here in michigan. Beatie springs. They guarintee them not to break. I think i put 180 ft lbs on my rear ones.
Blocks increase the stress on the Ubolts no matter how good they are. They are okay if your into fixing your truck a lot, or staying off the throttle.
