'72 4v (cj) heads

i saw a pic and the comb chamber may be bigger than the 70-71 4v closed chamber heads but it still looks like the quench design instead of open chamber like i thought they were...could improve flow with intermediate design?

any k to drop on me?

351 CJ heads are open chamber. They look just like 2v chambers.

not these ones...and they are stock off a '72 351 4v which is automatically cj in '72. I can tell the chamber is larger but not the same as the 2v heads that i can tell.

are 70 cj heads open chamber too? hmmm

there are 2 different closed chambers, real BOSS heads are listed at 66.1cc chambers and the common closed chamber heads are listed at 62.8cc's.

officially there were no closed chamber heads produced for the 72 model year, but it's possible that there may've been some available as service replacements over the parts dept counter with a D2 casting code?
