loose steering
I have a 1996 f-150 4x4, and the steering seems very loose. going down the road I have to fight it to stay between the lines and requires constant correction. It almost seems delayed, like I turn the wheel a little bit and nothing happens so I turn it a little more and then it responds, it also has a popping sound when turning at low speed, I've read the article about the crossmember and shimmied under there everything was tight but one bolt is missing maybe that is the culprit. I have also replaced the ball joints,shocks and radius arm bushings and help would be appreciated.
