looking for parts help?
Pulled the side tank of to replace brake line and the C shaped retainers (on the frame used to hold the tank to the frame) with the bolt built in are rusted to the point of unusable..any ideas where to find them? I have looked at the vendors on this web site and no luck.

Sounds like it... You can get them from places like Gardner Wescott, as well as better autoparts stores... not Autozone or Advance, but Maybe Napa? I have a local chain called Kentucky Ohio Indiana autoparts..they have a HUGE selection of these kinds of things..very handy!

Mrcorey5 that is what I am looking for, I have been to wrecking yards and so far have found junk not worth tearing apart for hours and the auto parts stores look at me like huh? I do appreciate the help and will keep looking.

Are you asking for gas tank straps? I doubt autoparts stores would have them. Each type of tank uses a specific type. Prolly Ford only.
Which tank, front or rear? Steel or plastic? Engine size is?
