I stand corrected on the # from Brian it was 8C3Z-4033-A. Still what would be the difference?

I was just told that 8C34 is the stamping # and the stamping # is on the part # which is 4033 and the part # is on the box, and the A or AA will all be the same part. I just ordered mine and was TOLD it will be here Monday, We'll see. Sorry for posting then answering my own question but I hope this helps someone else.

Neal ... the 8C3Z-4033-A on my site is the correct number. The original # posted has been superseded to this number. You can give Ford either number. If you give them 8C34-4033-A the computer will tell them it's been changed and now is the 8C3Z-4033-A

Don't worry either way you'll get the right part.

Thanks Brian that is what they more or less told me. Thanx for clarifying it for me. You know sometimes the dealers like to try to keep you confused and out of their business.

Got mine!!

Now to find the bolts. I'm gonna look for SS flanged bolts. That will look cool.

You folks think I should polish it first, or leave as cast?

by the way - there is a post in the other thread now about the torque for the bolts. They say 24 ft/lbs.

I'd just leave it cast finish. I'd think it'd probably be hard to polish it up because of the fins.
