Since the restriction of the DPF would be gone, it should never try to regen at all.

So I take it that there are some people who want to "Illegally" remove the emissions equipment from the '08 6.4L....?

I'd LOVE to remove all that stuff but with all the emissions ***** up here in Washington, I'd better not.

This is what you'll be looking at:P244c-exhaust temperature too low for regeneration---P244a diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low---P2002-diesel particulate filter efficiency below threshold---P1408-egr flow out of self test range---Po402-egr flow excessive detected---P006b- map/ebp correlation.These are just the ones that specifically mention "check for aftermarket modifications"
